Ngày 13/2, Cơ quan CSĐT Công an tỉnh Bình Dương ra quyết định khởi tố vụ án hình sự lừa đảo chiếm đoạt tài sản xảy ra tại Công ty cổ phần thương mại tư vấn và đầu tư KingLand – Chi nhánh Bình Dương.

Chi nhánh này được thành lập vào tháng 3/2019 do bà Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hiếu làm người đại diện, giữ chức vụ Giám đốc Công ty KingLand – Bình Dương. Trụ sở chi nhánh nằm trên đường Huỳnh Văn Lũy, phường Phú Lợi, TP.Thủ Dầu Một, Bình Dương.

Theo điều tra, năm 2019, Công ty KingLand do Trịnh Quốc Hưng (SN 1980; quê Hưng Yên) làm Chủ tịch HĐQT kiêm Tổng giám đốc mua các thửa đất 44, 57, 87 tờ bản đồ số 10 và thửa đất số 422, tờ bản đồ số 45, với tổng diện tích 45.232,5 m2 tại xã Định An (huyện Dầu Tiếng, tỉnh Bình Dương) nhằm mục đích tách thành nhiều thửa nhỏ để xin chủ trương thành lập dự án khu nhà ở.

Sau đó, Hưng chỉ đạo bà Hiếu và nhân viên quảng cáo gian dối là dự án trên đã hoàn thành thủ tục pháp lý để rao bán, hứa hẹn trong vòng 12 tháng sẽ bàn giao đất và “sổ đỏ” cho khách hàng. Chi nhánh này đã thu của 49 người mua với tổng số tiền khoảng 12,9 tỉ đồng rồi không thực hiện như cam kết.

Sau khi có nhiều người tố cáo gửi cơ quan chức năng, UBND huyện Dầu Tiếng ra thông báo xác định trên địa bàn huyện Dầu Tiếng không có dự án nào được phê duyệt với tên gọi Khu nhà ở Kingland Home City 5. Hiện trạng sử dụng các thửa đất 44, 57, 87 tờ bản đồ số 10 và thửa đất số 422 tờ bản đồ số 45 tại xã Định An, huyện Dầu Tiếng, tỉnh Bình Dương chỉ là bãi đất hoang, cây cỏ dại mọc um tùm.
