TP.HCM lập ban chỉ đạo xây dựng 5 huyện thành quận hoặc TP
TP.HCM lập Ban chỉ đạo xây dựng huyện Bình Chánh, Cần Giờ, Củ Chi, Hóc Môn, Nhà Bè thành quận hoặc TP giai đoạn 2021-2030.
Chủ tịch UBND TP.HCM Nguyễn Thành Phong ký quyết định thành lập Ban chỉ đạo và Tổ giúp việc xây dựng Đề án đầu tư – xây dựng các huyện thành quận (hoặc TP thuộc TP.HCM) giai đoạn 2021-2030.
Theo quyết định, Chủ tịch UBND TP.HCM Nguyễn Thành Phong là Trưởng ban chỉ đạo; Phó chủ tịch UBND TP Võ Văn Hoan làm phó trưởng ban thường trực và Phó chủ tịch UBND TP Lê Hòa Bình làm phó trưởng ban.
Các thành viên Ban chỉ đạo gồm giám đốc, phó giám đốc các sở, ngành và Chủ tịch UBND huyện Bình Chánh, Cần Giờ, Củ Chi, Hóc Môn, Nhà Bè.
Theo đó, Ban chỉ đạo có trách nhiệm chỉ đạo xây dựng các kế hoạch, đề án nhánh, đề án đầu tư – xây dựng các hoặc TP thuộc TP.HCM giai đoạn 2021-2030.
Đồng thời, ban này sẽ đóng góp ý kiến cho các kế hoạch, đề án, chỉ đạo thực hiện giải pháp để huy động, phát huy sức mạnh tổng hợp của các cơ quan Trung ương, TP, doanh nghiệp và nhân dân nhằm thực hiện các dự án đầu tư, xây dựng phát triển tại 5 huyện; đảm bảo đến năm 2025 cơ bản đạt đủ các tiêu chí thành lập quận hoặc TP thuộc TP.

Ngoài ra, UBND TP cũng thành lập Tổ giúp việc cho Ban chỉ đạo do Phó giám đốc Sở Nội vụ Nguyễn Thị Hồng Thắm làm tổ trưởng.
Cùng ngày, UBND TP.HCM cũng có quyết định thành lập Ban chỉ đạo xây dựng Đề án cơ chế, chính sách đặc thù phát triển TP Thủ Đức.
Theo đó, Chủ tịch UBND TP Nguyễn Thành Phong là Trưởng ban chỉ đạo; Phó chủ tịch UBND TP làm phó trưởng ban thường trực. UBND TP.HCM cũng có quyết định thành lập Tổ nghiên cứu xây dựng Đề án ban hành Nghị định của Chính phủ về phân cấp quản lý nhà nước trên một số lĩnh vực cho TP.HCM do Phó chủ tịch UBND TP Võ Văn Hoan làm tổ trưởng.
